STUDENT CATHOLIC ACTION OF THE PHILIPPINES

AN OVERVIEW:

To restore all things in Christ.

PREAMBLE:

      We, the member of the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines, envisioning the formation and development of Christian Communities that are truly Filipino and the establishment and promotion of the Brotherhood of Men under the Fatherhood of God, do hereby, invoking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, declare, ordain and promulgate this constitution.

NATURE:

The Student Catholic Action of the Philippines is a national movement of Filipino Catholic Students, whose vision is the formation and development of Christian communities that are truly Filipino, Founded on truth, justice. love and peace, guided by the Holy Spirit and realized in freedom, equality and participation among people.

VISION:

An organized group of students.

MISSION:

Striving to become a community of disciple of Jesus Christ.

GOAL:

By being evangelized and evangelizing.

PRINCIPLES:

We believe that God gives the ultimate meaning to the lives of men, whom He constantly invites in the course of history, to share in His plan of salvation as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.



We believe that Christ, present in the Eucharist, is the Savior of mankind and thus, commit ourselves to share in His salvation mission through building Christian communities and permeating society with the Spirit of Gospel.



We believe that our movement play's vital role in the life and mission of the Church, especially in evangelizing the world if the young and in being one with the people in their struggle and aspirations.



We recognized the need to respect, understand and have a dialogue with men of other faith for we believe the same God is in living dialogue with all men.



We uphold the dignity of men as God's image and likeness and recognized his vocation with other men to serve freely and responsibly as co-creator of God.
